A member asked:

I've been prescribed citalopram 10 mg for gad. i was curious if citalopram can cause or increase the chances of getting a blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not on own: But of interest, Citalopram does affect the QT interval on an electrocardiogram, and other meds that prolong the QT interval might increase risk for a cardiac arrythmia, But should not usually cause any other vascular risk.
