Ingrown hairs: Well, the first thing that comes to mind is shaving. If your shaving the area that the ingrown hairs are happening (scrotum, buttock, perianal, stomach, chest etc) then I would stop shaving at least for a while. Your a young guy and its a popular thing to do nowadays. Stopping is probably the only thing you can do for it if this is the cause. Otherwise your only treating the symptom!

Clip instead: Try to get Mupirocin cream. If they keep happening stop shaving or at least use a fresh razor each time and prep w/ antibacterial soap. Don't always use antibacterial soap b/c it can lead lead to bacterial resistance. If that doesn't stop the problem, use a clipper w/ a guard, or cream hair remover or laser if those 2 don't serve. Or just have hair.
