Frenum: You may have overly stretched the thin band of muscle between your lip and gum tissue in front of your bottom teeth. This can appear red and/or white. May also have done the same to the muscle under the tongue. This muscle band is called a frenum. Rinse with warm salt water and give it a rest for a few days. If not better, see your Dentist for examination. Good Luck.
