If the metal plate is removed from the 5th metacarpal bone (after complete healing) ... are there any high chances of re-fracture and nerve damage?

No: Once healing is completed, your risk of fracture should return to normal. If all of the hardware is removed and there are no follow up surgeries planned, you should be at no risk for further nerve damage. I hope this helps!
