May be: Cramping and bleeding can be symptoms of infection and if you are sexually active you need to be seen for testing for STDs. This may be nothing more than ovulation bleeding due to hormonal swings but there is no way to know for sure without testing. Be safe. Get tested ASAP.

Irregular bleeding: requires a GYN exam, testing, if sexually active a pregnancy test and prescription medication to regulate your cycle. Keep a menstrual calendar and mark down dates of : start, stop, heavy, light, or spotting. This will help your GYN direct your therapy.
