Is it possible to have silicosis with a normal xray, or would an xray usually pick that up?

Possible: The pulmonary reactive changes and subsequent fibrosis can take years to manifest both clinically and radiographically. Depending on the timing and degree of exposure, a normal cxr could be possible.
