Betobismol: likely contains aspirin, similar to the product PeptoBismol. Use of aspirin containing medications in young children has been associated with Reyes Syndrome, and is not recommended.

Is this pepto-bismol: ? If it is for upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, it is probably okay. Please do NOT use it if your child has chickenpox or influenza or any other viral illnesses as your child could become quite ill with Reye's Syndrome. Remember, pepto-bismol will turn your child's stool dark and blacken the tongue.
