Yes: If semen was brought into contact near the vaginal opening (introitus) then then is a small but possible chance of pregnancy. Please talk to your doctor to review effective methods/options of preventing pregnancy if you are not on birth control already and remember that only barrier methods (condoms) can prevent the transmission of STDs. You should also get a follow-up pregnancy test.

Nonetheless, always do HPT one week after missing expected period and repeat it in another wk if the first HPT is (-) & still in doubt. More?
