Read instructions: Usually it takes two lines for the test to be positive. Please read the instructions that came with the test kit, carefully and follow the guidelines rigorously. If you had unprotected sex and missed a period, the time to do the test is 5-7 days after a missed period. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
