I took 2.5 mg of xanax (alprazolam) on sunday at 2:00p.m.. i then was given a drug screen on tuesday at 5:00p.m. shortly after i passed a dipstick test.any idea?

Xanax (alprazolam): It has average half-life of 6-20 hours, and the time it remains positive in your urine drug screen depends on the length & frequency of daily use, which can be as little as 3 days with infrequent use, and up to 4-6 weeks with chronic use.
