Doubt: Herpes is called genital when it appears on the genitals. It is however very contagious. It is often transferred to the cuticle area of the fingers because it requires open skin to skin transmission. If you have a hangnail don't touch an open genital lesion!If you have blisters on your palms and feet you should see your doctor for an evaluation.
