Dr prescribe us 4-500mg tinidazole for my bf&i.took mine 2 days before my bf had sex same day he took his and the next day.can i get reinfected again?

Trichomonas: I think being it would have been more advisable to have taken your medication for several days before having unprotected sex I would suggest you repeat the medication again just to make sure that you're not still infected

Here are some ...: It's nice to see both of you were willing to be treated simultaneously, but apparently, your urge to have sex defeated the need to follow instructions of treating trichomonas. Professionally, the timing of taking Tinidazole and resuming sex was not right. So, follow the instruction so to get things done correctly. Besides improper timing as stated, the outcome of any treatment has never been 100%.

Need to abstain: till both of you are treated. Yes you can get it back. See your doctor.

Not impossible: It is not impossible but unlikely. You both have a lot of tinidazole in your blood which should kill trichomonas in both of you. It is better though to give it a few days for both people to be clear before you start having sex again, or use a condom.
