Progesterone: Progesterone that is either given to you to support an early pregnancy or from your own ovulation will often thicken your cervical mucous and prevent the entrance of other sperm or pathogens through the cervix. It's protective and a good thing. Nothing to worry about unless you're having excessive and/or foul-smelling and/or bloody discharge. Good luck!
