Cognitive behavioral: 25mg is smallest dose of Zoloft (sertraline). In mild-moderate depression, non-pharmacologic options often bring about results as good as medications but w/o side effects. Ask your prescribing physician about switching to psychotherapy, for instance, cognitive behavioral therapy. St John's wort is herb most well known for use in depression.

Depression, Zoloft (sertraline): Zoloft (sertraline) is a medication for treatment of depression. I commend you for decreasing dose of Zoloft (sertraline) to 25mg/day. Due to use of Zoloft (sertraline) for 7 years, I understand your desire to use alternatives There isn’t enough scientific evidence to determine whether Rhodiola, a plant is effective for depression. See a Psychiatrist for Psychotherapy to cope with stressors in your life, and use Yoga and Meditation.

Zoloft (sertraline): Not sure what Zoloft (sertraline) low dose was prescribed to you for, but talk to your doctor about alternative. If it was for anxiety, some natural remedies might be Kava, Valerian, Chamomile, etc. For Depression, some are SAM-e, 5-HT, etc.
