Do you mean "LDL"?: If you are talking about high cholesterol levels, then 136 is not worrisome. The best way to improve cholesterol, and prevent heart disease in general, is to eat a low-fat diet rich in fruits and veggies (at least 5 servings per day), limit all meats and cheeses, and get regular aerobic exercise. Aim for 150 minutes of cardio per week.
