Breast swelling: It is very normal and common for breasts to swell before or around the time of a woman's menstrual cycle. Also, it often varies from month to month, so that is not unusual either. I guess I'm a little concerned that you have pain near one of your armpits. If it goes away completely after your period, you're probably fine. But if it worsens or persists, I would see your doctor to get checked out.
