No: Both Hepatitis B and C viruses may be detected 30 to 60 days after infection by antigen detection or 60-120 days with antibody testing. Direct HBV DNA and HCV RNA testing can potentially detect infection earlier, within 2-4 weeks after infection, so being tested at 47 days post-exposure with a negative nucleic acid test for both is very likely to be a true negative
