Needs to be checked: We do not have enough information like if there is history of any trauma,how long it has been swollen,what your occupation is etc And swelling of knee needs to be examined and may need imaging like Xray and MRI if indicated find out what is causing the swelling and pain Swelling can be caused by trauma,inflammatin like Arthritis,fluid in the knee,infection,gout or psedogout
