When after an ear infection can you swim without ear plugs?

Ear infection/swim: If you have no drum perforaion you could swim after 5-7 days of being on antibiotics. If you had a drum perforation, it may take a month or longer to heal depending on the size of the perforationand you should not allow any water to go in you ears (middle ear).
