Can i shower with an outer ear infection that is healing? i also have an ear wick. anything i should be cautious of? do i need to wear plugs?

Should be ok: It should be ok to shower. Obviously, without more info such as an exam, it's tough to be sure, but it sounds OK from what you presented. If you're unsure, you'll have to see your primary care for an exam.
