Vestibular neuritis: Vestibular neuritis is usually caused by a viral infection. There are many viral infections that can cause these symptoms. One of the virus families that cause the neuritis is of the herpes family. Once you are infected with a Herpes virus in remains in your body for life and gets reactivated sometimes. There is no treatment to eradicate the virus. Treatment with an antiviral agent may help.
