It sure is.: If you go way overboard with eating, you can increase the pressure in the stomach itself, making it more likely that you regurgitate or reflux food or acid. It should be a temporary thing unless you overeat frequently. Liquid or chewable antacids, such as Tums, (calcium carbonate) should help with the symptoms temporarily.
