Painful intercourse: Painful intercourse is an oxymoron - sex should always be pleasurable. There are conditions associated with dyspareunia ("painful sex") in women; the one that comes to mind most often is "interstitial cystitis;" don't know everything about it, tx options are limited; but the diagnosis can be made relatively easily. By the way, do you have an iud or something else to explain the pain. See a gu.
