It depends.: Did you have your baby? If you did, then it's a long (but not technically prolonged) labor. True labor lasting > 24 hours might be "prolonged." If true labor starts (with cervical dilation) then stops for more than 24 hours, it's "arrested labor." If you had contractions without progressive cervical dilation, that's "false labor". What do you call your baby?
