Hemorrhoids.: hemorrhoids are blood vessels at the anus which have become enlarged or inflamed. There are no studies showing any usage of ichthammol for the treatment of hemorrhoids. There is not a lot of reason to suspect it would work, and there is no way to predict whether there would be any side effects. I would see your doctor for the hemorrhoids. Good luck.
