Your rectum: isn't designed to remain pristine after having a bowel movement. Using enemas like Fleets enemas on a regular basis can be dangerous for several reasons, including electrolyte changes, and trauma. Other patients may have discovered safer methods of cleaning their rectums that I don't know of, so I'd ask your doctor for more information.
