Yes.: Septal perforation is a complication of bilateral septal cauterization. It can be a serious complication. Return to ENT doc for assessment. If not satisfied with explanation, get another opinion from pediatric ENT doc.

Needs f/u: This is a remote complication of the procedure to cause damage to the tissue. In most cases it heals but a follow up with the ENT would ensure proper healing.
