More info needed...: The standard chlamydia DNA test (also called NAAT, i.e. nucleic acid amplification test) is highly reliable. The only way to be infected is by sex with another infected person. You might have longstanding infection, missed by your earlier test. You're in the best position to judge whether to believe your partner about sex with others. The important thing now is that you both be treated. Good luck!
