Please suggest what foods are good for someone who has a low thyroid count?

Think iodine/seleniu: For iodine: dried seaweed (1/4 oz) - has 4500 ug of iodine (3000% of the daily value) - cod - 3 ounces - 99 ug iodine (66% dv) - iodized salt (1 gram) 51% of dv. For selenium: - brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, fish. Do not neglect your thyroid hormone levels checked (all of them) and getting medications if needed.

It doesn't matter: What you eat. What matters is that you take the correct amount of brand name T4 replacement daily until your thyroid numbers are normalized. Talk w/your doctor. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet.
