Not necessary: Your partner undoubtedly received azithromycin (Zithromax) in a single dose of 1 gram. It is often irritatiing to the gastrointestinal tract and can cause vomiting. When it happens more than 30 minutes after taking the drug, enough is absorbed into the system to cure chlamydia, and no additional treatment is needed. So no worries -- he should be feeling better soon.
