Vitamin C: Vit C is water soluble which means we don't store it. Two mammals humans and guinea pigs do not produce vit C, therefore in times of stress and injury when we need it most we have to get it orally. That said, there really is no toxicity dose. Vit C can cause dyspepsia, diarrhea. I usually recommend 1000mg 4 to 5 times a day when needed. Excess just gets excreted and not stored anyway. Take 500 TID
