I have been experiencing twitching of a nerve above my left ear (temporalis) area. i dont think its stress? is it a blood vessel pressing the nerve?

Muscle: Twitching would be associated with the muscles in this area. Of course, they would require a nerve to activate them. May also be a pulsation of a blood vessel in this area. Many vessels and nerves in this location. Often this happens with stress, and tiredness, and overuse. Hydration is also critical for the systems to properly function. Check yourself for these things and if it persists, see MD.

See your PCP: Because even the seemingly simple medical problems can be very complicated. The symptoms can range from TMJ, coagulopathy to temporal arteritis. See your PCP for consultation, tests, proper diagnosis and treatment if needed.
