Possible: Pregnancy is possible in your 40's but, after a tubal ligation, there are more likely causes of having 3 periods in 1 month than pregnancy. These include infections, abnormal cervical cells, 2 periods and bleeding mid-cycle due to ovulation, annovulatory bleeding, medicines, and several other diseases. You need to see your PCP or GYN for a full history and exam. Hope this helps.
