UTI: You may have a urinary tract infection. Also certain medications may cause bladder irritation as well as caffeine.

UA abnormal: RBCs in the urine are usually a contaminant at your age, but many other conditions can be the source as well. These include infections, trauma, stones, endometriosis, and benign and malignant tumors. Hematuria is the most common reason for cystoscopy- looking in the bladder with a scope, but if persistent that may be needed.
