Low risk: Used correctly, barrier contraceptives like a condom are safe and effective. All methods have some failure risk, but this runs about 1% when used right. The stimulated male can leak sperm containing fluids at any time, so proper use means covering up at the beginning to eliminate random exposure to these fluids as well as that during intercourse.

Possible but less so: When a male condom is used CORRECTLY the chance of pregnancy during the first YEAR of use is 2%. However the chance of pregnancy increases to 18% when a typical male uses the condom(not always used correctly). In any event, assuming it was used correctly, the chance of pregnancy from this one sexual encounter is very low, but still possible.
