Painful tampon: It is possible that your tampon is more absorbent that you need. Hence why it is still dry when you pull it out, which can be uncomfortable. Best to try different absorbency tampons for the duration of your period, for example using a light absorbency tampon on light flow days. If pain is persistent, follow up with a doctor.
