Condoms for a while: There are no firm data. Sex can trigger BV (it's uncertain whether and how often BV is an STD), and it makes sense to wait a while for vaginal bacteria to normalize. I advise my patients to wait until finishing treatment (you've done that), symptoms are gone, especially odor; then use condoms for at least 2 weeks before resuming unprotected intercourse. Also no receiving oral sex for a few weeks.

Intimacy after treat: You should wait at least 2 weeks after the treatment as well as make sure that your partner is also treated, as it can be given back to you and cause further symptoms. Always use protection (condoms), to prevent any further infections.
