I have a tiny knot/lump on the upper back of my head that wasn't but now is sore/burning. a 2nd one seems to be coming up. should i be concerned?

2 options: Two things come to mind. The most likely is small cysts that are becoming irritated or infected. The other possibility is lymph nodes that are swelling up. Either way you should get it checked because either condition might require treatment. I would say it's not terribly concerning but if left without treatment could get worse.
