A member asked:

What is the relation between hi total cholesterol and boarder line osteoporosis and perphiral neuritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not much connection: High cholesterol is largely determined genetically, though what you eat can have some effect on this. Osteoporosis does also run in some families but occurs later in life when there is bone loss. It is not related to cholesterol. Peripheral neuritis is an inflammation of a peripheral nerve and again, not much connection to cholesterol or osteoporosis.
