A member asked:

What pathology could cause low levels of testosterone (in a man) along with a low estimated bioavailable fraction? ganadotropins- normal.prolactin-539

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low T: Aging can cause low testosterone in a man because of age (not common) or being overweight (much more common). The gonadotrophins are likely to be normal because the low testosterone is replaced by estrogen due to obesity.
