Not likely: If you are taking the pills correctly, your chances of getting pregnant are about 3-5% per year. You are no more likely to get pregnant on the sugar pills compared to the non-sugar pills. Most women start the period sometime during the sugar pills. Its also possible to be safely on the pills but not have a period at all. Best wishes!
