Hydrogen Peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide is an adjunct and can be helpful although professional dental treatment along with proper tooth brushing and flossing is really the key!

Adjunct only: As an adjunct rinsing with hydrogen peroxide may be helpful, in addition to enhanced home care , inclusive of brushing, flossing, use of tongue scraper etc. Bleaching has peroxide as a component and it was invented by an orthodontist that found that the use of peroxide lightened teeth in addition. Therefore, the close approximation of the bleaching material with the gingiva is helpful.

Adjunctive Method: It is effective and many dentists incorporate the PerioGel with periodontal therapy protocols to treat gingivitis.
