How effective is a lobectomy for treating lung cancer?

Contained: Lobectomy is very effective and appropriate if the cancer is isolated to the particular lobe.sometimes though despite best efforts after surgery pathology may show that cancer is not isolated to that lobe and more extensive treatment needed.
