In combination: Chemotherapy has some benefit in colon cancer when used in combination with other drugs. FOLFOX is an example that when given in the adjuvant setting can be helpful in minimizing local recurrence. In the therapeutic setting immunotherapy is needed possibly in combination with chemo to prolong survival.
