Depends : If there are no complications, the hospital stay should be 3-6 days, and you would typically be back to mostly normal activity by 6-12 weeks. May need to eat smaller portions, and lower carbohydrates until the body adapts to avoid something called "dumping syndrome". Easy fatigue can last for months.
