A member asked:

How does the cerebellum help you keep your balance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Homeostasis: Cerebellar function needs to balance left vrs right impulses, and neurochemical impulses from cerebellum modulate chemical impulses from basal ganglia. This is all a fine balancing situation, responding to external proprioceptors from external limbs.
