This is from retina: Advanced retinal degenerative disease like retinitis pigmentosa creates the disabling tunneling of vision. Advanced glaucoma and diabetic change can also do this. Certain types of optic nerve trauma and disease can also lead to tunneling.

Tunnel vision: Most common causes: advanced glaucoma & other optic nerve diseases, retinitis pigmentosa, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, rarely very high myopia due to rim of glasses.
