What can cause a hazy density in the lungs?

"Hazy Density": is a very nonspecific, vague description that could imply a laundry list of infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic, or other processes. If this is a chest xray finding, sometimes it is an artifact due to technical reasons and turns out to be nothing at all.
