Yes: If you have a positive urine culture , you should be treated with an antibiotic for which the bacteria in the urine is sensitive. Men, just as women, may have irritative voiding symptoms with a uti; such as urgency, frequency, urinating at night, painful urination, dribbling, incomplete emptying, blood in the urine, etc.
