A member asked:

What are benign swollen lymph nodes in lower colon?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Colon nodes: It depends on the way these were diagnosed. Benign indicated that a biopsy was done and reviewed under the microscope. If the diagnosis was made on CT, it may have just been "mesenteric adenitis " a relatively incidental finding.
